Ordinary 34 (Christ the King) Everything was created by God. But the Enemy tricked us into refusing to serve God. Jesus comes to set us free from sin and death. When we genuflect at Mass, we are saying: I put my life at the service of the true King.
Ascension – Every Christian is called to be a little Christ. Stop looking at yourself and worrying about your problems. Look at Jesus, speak to Him, and focus on God’s will. Let His power flow! We want God to change the world, but He wants to change YOU.
Advent 4 – What does the birth of Jesus mean? There are three more feasts to explain the true meaning of Christmas: He is our Sacrifice (January 1). He is the true King of the World (January 6). He is the true God (February 2nd). Keep celebrating!
Christmas is the birthday of the King of Kings. He leads us, serves us, loves us, and dies for us. His coming depended on just one Yes. Will you follow him, serve him, love him, welcome him? The whole world is waiting for your answer. [AUDIO]
God made you to know Him, love Him, and serve Him in this life so as to be happy with Him in the next. Follow Jesus and He will lead you down the path of obedience, service, and generosity. Do your onions really belong to you? (26 Nov 2017)
The master gives his servants plenty to work with. Everything we have is a gift from God. Do we use it for His glory? When we give and we serve, we become worthy of the kingdom. Dilly Dilly! [AUDIO]
Who would reject an invitation to the royal wedding? We do when we respond to God’s call with apathy and opposition. Your invitation to the banquet doesn’t mean a guaranteed seat. Many are invited, but few are chosen. [AUDIO]
Does it really matter if you live 1 year or 51 or 101, as long as you get to heaven? God is not cheating us when he is generous. You can only be a looser if you say “No.” God will always pay better than you deserve. [AUDIO]
The King who enters triumphally into Jerusalem has come to die for His people. We cannot separate the Resurrection from the Crucifixion. Everyone wants to celebrate Easter, but how many of us are willing to celebrate Good Friday? [AUDIO]
Today we are reminded that God is a good father. When we get too focused on immediate needs, we lose sight of God’s presence in our lives. Keep your eyes on your Father and the other stuff will fall into place. [AUDIO]
