Christ sows the good seed of truth and love. But the enemy sows bad seed of lies and selfishness. Whatever we receive will take root in our hearts, grow, and spread. What am I open to receiving: Love and Truth or lies and selfishness. What am I spreading: Love and Truth or lies and selfishness? Ask yourself this question on Monday at noon. (13 Jul 2014)
Those things you think nobody knows? Jesus already knows… and He still loves you. He offers His love like an ocean of mercy. And He “thirsts” for our faith and our love in return. This Lent, I want you to do two things:
1) Encounter the Merciful love of God: Read the Bible, go to Confession, and see His mercy all around us.
2) Offer the Merciful love of God to your spouse, friends, and yourself.
Our universe is so enormous, it’s hard to comprehend the size of it. Yet compared to God, it is nothing more than a grain of sand or a drop of dew. Amazingly, God still loves us and seeks us. Of all the people in Jericho, only the sinner Zacchaeus was really seeking Jesus. And it turns out that Jesus had been seeking Zacchaeus. Are you seeking the Lord? Then He will find you.
Jesus is the real Judge, and we and the World are on trial. Before His just judgement we all stand guilty and condemned. Jesus then accepts a sentence of Death in punishment for us all. What a moment of mercy. What a moment of love. (29 Mar 2013)
Ordinary24 – Today is the 10th anniversary of the September 11th terrorist attack. Jesus calls us to forgive others, including Osama Bin Laden. Forgiveness frees us and makes us better people. It turns the evil of others into spiritual growth for me.
Ordinary23 – Love builds community. Sin destroys it. What do we do when someone sins against us? Jesus gives us a three-step process. But before I can truly help my brother with his sins, I have to be honest with myself about mine.
