An Hour in Heaven (#642, 22nd Sunday)

Fr. Joel Homilies Leave a Comment

Twenty-second Sunday in Ordinary Time (Year C) • Seek humility and honors will come to you. Jesus models this humility when he welcomes the poor, the crippled, the lame and the blind. Through the Mass heaven comes to earth and we are caught up into heaven. It is a place of encounter with God and His people. Jesus wants us to welcome others as He welcomes us.

Point to Ponder: What would your life look like every week you invited new faces into your home?

Point to Discuss: Throw a dinner for strangers. Don’t worry about what they will think of your messy house, just try to enjoy their company.
