Easter – The ancient people passed yeast down from generation to generation. Jesus is the new “starter dough,” the Bread of Life. The culture of Christ can transform lives and raise the dead — but we have to nourish it and let it grow.
Holy Thursday – We judge the value of an item by the price that was paid for it. You were bought at the price of a man’s blood — and not just any man, but God’s own Son. How can you repay this debt? By loving as you are loved.
Lent 5 – Have you prayed and pleaded like Martha and Mary — and now it feels “too late” for an answer from God? Miracles are happening around us even in our own day. They remind us to trust that it’s never too late for God. Do you believe this?
